National History Day is a national historical research/presentation competition. There are several different categories if you want to participate, such as writing a research paper, producing an original production (acting), and documentary (movie) making. There are separate categories for individual work versus small group projects.

This year's theme is: Innovation in History: Impact and Change.

Here is the link to the rules for the documentary category. You will also need a process paper, but that is easy if you are doing good learning log entries as you work on this project. (You might want to maintain a separate page just for your documentary stuff.)

We will be having a state competition at the end of March. If you are interested in representing our school and district in any category, let Mr. Little know.
